Kuwait's orders come in through Shuwaikh and split between routine building services and the heavier specification of its refining and oil work. Galvanised iron (GI) and malleable iron (MI) threaded fittings are drawn from the Dubai stock or shipped as a full container from Brazil, and the two are quoted side by side so the lower landed cost is the one taken.

Shuwaikh, and costing a direct sailing from Brazil
Shuwaikh is the named port of entry. Kuwait is far enough up the Gulf that a direct sailing from Brazil is worth costing seriously for any container-sized requirement, while the Dubai stock remains the sensible answer for mixed orders, replenishment and anything a contractor needs before a production slot could be booked.
Both numbers come back in the same quotation, so the comparison is arithmetic rather than argument.

Refining work, NPT and Class 300
The refining and petrochemical sector sets the tone. Work written by American engineering contractors follows NPT to ANSI B16.3 in Class 150 and Class 300, and it is normal for a single Kuwaiti buyer to need NPT for the plant and BSP for the buildings on the same site. TUPY produces both, from the same foundry and to the same material standard, which is why one supplier can carry both halves of that requirement.
Away from the plants, the volume is water networks, housing and building services in galvanised iron (GI) to BSP, with fire protection work written to NFPA calling for the UL Listed and FM Approved figures specifically.

Documents that accompany a Kuwait shipment
The foundry works to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, all under Bureau Veritas surveillance, and each Kuwait consignment is accompanied by its mill test certificate and certificate of origin.
Where a Kuwaiti project or authority requires a local conformity registration in addition to the above, that is handled per project with the consultant and the importer of record. Send the requirement rather than leaving it to be assumed.

Quoted into Kuwait: elbows, tees, sockets, unions, bushes, nipples, plugs, caps, crosses and their reducing versions, 1/4in to 6in, galvanised and black, BSP and NPT Class 150 and 300, and the TUPYPRES press-fit system where a threaded joint is not wanted. Can you supply NPT Class 300 for refinery work?
Yes. The refining and oil work in Kuwait that specifies NPT gets ANSI B16.3 in Class 150 and Class 300 from the same foundry as the BSP range; send the spec so thread and class are pinned down first.
Do you ship direct to Shuwaikh?
For container quantities, yes. Mixed and smaller orders are supplied from the Dubai stock. Both routes are quoted so the landed cost can be compared.
Are the fittings UL Listed and FM Approved?
Yes, for the relevant figures. Kuwaiti sprinkler work to NFPA needs the listing on the item itself; TUPY holds UL Listing and FM Approval in Brazil, figure by figure, not as a blanket brand claim.
Can one order mix BSP and NPT?
Yes. Both thread forms come from the same manufacturer, so a site needing NPT for plant and BSP for buildings can be supplied from one order and one set of documents.
