Stock is held in Dubai and cleared through Jebel Ali for re-export across the region, or a container is shipped direct from Brazil to your own port where that lands cheaper. Both routes are costed on every enquiry, so the choice is made on one number.
The range is held in Dubai and cleared through Jebel Ali, so orders in the Emirates are supplied from stock already in the country: galvanised and black, 1/4in to 6in, in BSP and in NPT Class 150 and Class 300.
The threaded fittings are blackheart malleable cast iron in grade JMB 350-10, to ISO 5922, ABNT NBR 6590 and EN 1562. The fittings themselves are made to ABNT NBR 6943, ISO 49 and EN 10242. Ductile grades belong to the VERSABAR (FUCO) continuous cast bar range, not to the fittings.
The relevant fire protection figures are UL Listed and FM Approved, and the gas figures hold DVGW approval. Production is certified to ABNT and INMETRO in Brazil, under ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, with Bureau Veritas inspection. The figure-by-figure list is on the FM and UL page.
Building services, water and most fire protection work in the Gulf is written to BSP, following EN 10242 and ISO 49. NPT to ANSI B16.3, in Class 150 and Class 300, appears on oil, gas and industrial work specified by American engineering contractors. Ordering one thread against a drawing written for the other is the commonest mistake we see.
Yes. A full container can go from Brazil straight to your port when that beats re-exporting from Dubai, and for a mixed order of many figures the Dubai stock usually wins. Send the figures, sizes and quantities and both routes are quoted.
