Most Iraqi business moves through Dubai. Goods are held in stock at Jebel Ali and released against the order, and the buyer or their forwarder nominates how they travel on - by sea to a southern port, or overland. That flexibility is the point: it keeps a mixed order moving without waiting on a production run, and it lets the buyer use the clearance route they already trust.
For container volumes a direct shipment from Brazil is costed as the alternative. It is usually cheaper per tonne and slower to arrange, and it only makes sense when the quantity is known and settled. Ask for both and the quotation carries the two numbers.

Water and plumbing take galvanised iron (GI) fittings in BSP; plant, steam, condensate and compressed air take malleable iron (MI), which is rated for working pressures ordinary steel fittings are not.
Where an oil-sector contract is written by an American engineering contractor the thread form is NPT to ANSI B16.3, Class 150 or Class 300. TUPY makes both thread forms in the same foundry, so a buyer serving both kinds of site does not need two suppliers.

Ex-stock from Dubai there is no container minimum. Direct from Brazil the economics start at a full container. The quotation shows which is cheaper for the quantity in question.
